Meet the leadership team of Atse Yohannes School in Mekelle

Season's Greetings AYAA Family and Friends:

During this time of celebration and festivities, I am proud that our AYAA team has not forgotten our beloved high school and our colleagues back home in Ethiopia. Together, we have made history by raising over 8 million birr to build a state-of-the-art Library Media Center (LMC).

Please know that our AYAA LMC project and the relationships that we have made continue to serve as an inspiration to those whom we have served. A shining example is the stunningly impressive progress of the renovation of our school. I am confident that you will share in my pride as you see the attached pictures from Atse Yohannes High School administrators. Approximately 80% of the renovation is complete and administrators anticipate completion in time for the next school year.

As you know, AYAA members are all over the world. When we go back home, please remember to donate lab equipment, books, funds, etc. so that the new buildings will house educational materials for the students. As we all know, empowering our youth with a solid educational foundation is the primary way to overcome poverty and attain self-sufficiency.

Merry Christmas to everyone and I pray that you and your loved ones will be blessed for all that you continue to do.

Sincerely,
Aebeyo Abraha
AYAA- President
